Regulations :: time trials

• If weather conditions disallow (fair) side by side races, the jury may decide to switch to time trials. In this case the following regulations apply:
• Time trials are conducted over a 1900m distance.
• Heats and junior heats will start according to draw order. Promotion conditions will still apply.
• All crews start in lane 7. Crews that are in danger of being overtaken must move to lanes 5/6.
• Crews start every 20 seconds.
• There is at least a 1 minute pause between divisions.
• Finales may be race side by side or as a time trial.
